Description
The owners of this home requested a fabulous space for family and entertaining within the existing footprint. The kitchen was opened to the living room and outdoor terrace. A horizontal band of windows extends over the twenty-foot-long kitchen countertop. A custom stainless steel frame supports the peninsula, which seats seven people for casual meals. The design uses materials such as bamboo, translucent glass, quartzite to articulate a spare yet warm and livable aesthetic.
